This policy explains what personal information NOMA DESIGN collects when you use this website or place an order, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have. We handle personal information in accordance with the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 (חוק הגנת הפרטיות, התשמ״א-1981).
The information is held by NOMA DESIGN, registered as a licensed dealer (עוסק מורשה) at רחוב החרוב 35, מושב פדיה.
1. What we collect
- Order details — first and last name, email address, phone number, and, for delivered orders, city, street, house number, apartment number and postal code.
- Sign content — the text, colours and options you choose. This often includes a family name or a street address, since that is what a house sign says.
- Correspondence — messages you send us by email, phone or social media.
- Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and timestamps, kept in server logs for security and reliability.
- Local storage — your shopping cart and accessibility preferences are stored in your own browser. They stay on your device and you can clear them at any time through your browser settings.
We never see your payment card details. Card data is entered on the payment page hosted by PayPlus and processed on their systems. We receive only confirmation of whether the payment succeeded, the last four digits of the card, and the order reference.
2. Why we use it
- to produce, pack and deliver your order, and to contact you about it;
- to send you an order confirmation and updates about your order;
- to take payment and issue receipts, through our payment provider;
- to handle cancellations, replacements and refunds;
- to keep accounting and tax records as required by Israeli law;
- to answer your questions and keep the website secure.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing messages unless you have asked us to.
3. Who we share it with
- PayPlus — our payment provider, which processes card payments and holds the card details you enter on its payment page.
- Supabase — the database service where order records are stored.
- Vercel — the hosting provider that serves this website.
- Resend — the service that delivers order confirmation emails.
- Delivery carriers — the name, address and phone number needed to deliver your order.
- Telegram — order notifications are sent to the studio's own account so we see new orders promptly.
- Authorities — where we are legally required to disclose information.
Some of these providers operate outside Israel, so your information may be transferred abroad and stored on servers in other countries.
4. How long we keep it, and how it is protected
Order and payment records are retained for the period required by Israeli accounting and tax law. Correspondence is kept only as long as needed to deal with the matter it concerns. The site is served over encrypted HTTPS, access to order data is restricted to authorised studio accounts, and payment data never reaches our systems.
5. Your rights
Under the Protection of Privacy Law you have the right to review information held about you in our database, and to request that it be corrected or deleted where it is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Contact us using the details at the bottom of this page. We may ask you to verify your identity first, so that we do not disclose your information to someone else.
6. Cookies
We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. The site uses browser local storage for your cart and accessibility settings, and our hosting and payment providers may set cookies strictly necessary to deliver the service securely.
7. Changes to this policy
