These terms govern your use of this website and any order you place with NOMA DESIGN. By placing an order you accept them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
1. Who we are
NOMA DESIGN is a design studio in Israel making laser-cut and engraved wooden signs to order, registered as a licensed dealer (עוסק מורשה) at רחוב החרוב 35, מושב פדיה. Our contact details are at the bottom of this page.
2. Orders
Product pages let you choose the text, colours and quantity for your sign. The text you enter is engraved exactly as submitted, so please check spelling, spacing and punctuation carefully — including in Hebrew, where a stray character is easy to miss. We are not responsible for errors in text you supplied.
An order is a proposal to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm your order and payment has been received. We may decline an order — for example if a product is unavailable, if the requested content is unlawful or offensive, or if a price was listed in error.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in new Israeli shekels (₪) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery is charged separately and shown at checkout; self pickup is free.
Payments are processed by PayPlus, an Israeli payment provider (payplus.co.il). You are directed to a payment page hosted by PayPlus, where your card details are entered on their systems; we never receive or store them. NOMA DESIGN remains the seller: the contract of sale is with us, and we issue the receipt or tax invoice for your order. Depending on our arrangement with the provider, the charge on your statement may appear under our name or under the name of the payment provider.
4. Production and delivery
Signs are usually produced within 2–5 business days, after which they are shipped or made available for collection. These are estimates, not guaranteed dates, and delays outside our control may extend them.
We deliver within Israel. Orders may also be collected in person from our studio at רחוב החרוב 35, מושב פדיה, free of charge. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery, or on collection where you choose self pickup.
5. Cancellation and refunds
Each sign is engraved with the text you supply, which makes it a custom-made good under Israeli law. Personalised signs cannot be returned or exchanged unless they have a manufacturing defect. Your rights if an order does arrive faulty are unaffected. The full position is set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
6. Content you submit
You confirm that any text, name or design you ask us to engrave is lawful and that you hold the rights to use it. Do not submit content that infringes a trade mark or copyright, or that is offensive, hateful or unlawful. We may refuse to produce such an order and refund it in full.
7. Intellectual property
The design of this website, our product designs, photographs and text belong to NOMA DESIGN and may not be copied or reproduced without written permission.
8. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability under mandatory consumer legislation and liability for personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, our liability arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
9. Accessibility
Our accessibility statement — הצהרת נגישות — sets out what we have done, the known limitations, and how to reach our accessibility coordinator. It is published in Hebrew, as Israeli law requires.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the version in force when you place an order is the one that applies to it, and the date at the top shows when this page was last revised. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Israel have jurisdiction over any dispute.
